A Celebration of 1000 Eye Surgeries
James Ball and the Custom Vision Clinic team are today celebrating our 1000th eye surgery case at Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital.
As 2019 draws to a close, we were delighted to be able to reach a significant milestone in the life of our clinic. Mr Ball today carried out our 1000th eye surgery procedure since Custom Vision Clinic first opened in May 2017.
We are very proud of this milestone achievement and wanted to take the opportunity acknowledge the partnership we have built with Nuffield over the last two and a half years. The relationship sees Cataract Surgery and Lens Replacement Surgery patients having their consultation at our bespoke clinic in Bramham, before Mr Ball carries out the surgical procedures at the Nuffield Hospital in central Leeds.
Although Mr Ball has vast experience of performing several thousand cataract and lens replacement procedures since becoming an Ophthalmic Surgeon, today’s milestone is unique both for us and also for Nuffield, who, prior to partnering with Custom Vision Clinic, had not offered ophthalmic surgery at the Leeds Hospital for many years.
The Clinic and Nuffield Hospital jointly celebrated the partnership with a celebration cake, made by Jelly Bean Bakery, and cupcakes making up the number 1000.
We’re delighted to mark this milestone together.
