Event Debrief: Astigmatism correction in cataract surgery presentation
Fifteen optometrists attended James’s presentation in March 2018. The lecture gave an overview of current technologies and treatment pathways which lead to the optimum post-operative results when treating astigmatic patients.
Measurement and evidence for the effectiveness of different methods to measure corneal astigmatism were presented. Formulae for the calculation of toric IOL’s was described.
